If they adopt this ignorance, then welfare needs increased, and more easily accessed by anyone not a white or Asian, straight cis able-bodied neurotypical male.
I am autistic, and run AutismFits.org. Autistics have an 85% unemployment rate. That isn't us, that is an issue at the very foundation of working society- the hiring process. My org teaches companies why, and how they can fix it without compromising the quality of new hires, while opening the field up to more autistics, diagnosed, or not. But companies won't hire us, they see no value in it. Jobs are not a privilege, they are a necessity to afford basic human needs. That is why DEI exists.
