Mixed Race Hair Tips (Request)

I came across this comment on a video with a mixie, from a woman who is Black, not mixed, and this is just incorrect.

I am mixed. My paternal granma was half Black half Rroma Gypsy, and my maternal grandaddy was half East Euro Rroma Gypsy, and half..well…we thought Iranian, but the DNA test shows ‘Balochi’..Not sure if that is still Iranian, or not lol…regardless, both of them had ethnic hair types. And neither of my parents ended up with that type. It skipped them, jumping to me…So I grew up wholly clueless on how to tend it.

In her defense, my mom did try. She took me to a black salon. They proceeded to burn my scalp with a product way too strong for my hair. And that is exactly why what this woman said is wrong.

It is not typical black hair texture.
It isn’t typical white hair texture, either.

Over the years I have found products for whites are, generally, entirely useless for me. They soak in never to be seen again, never making any noticeable difference, as though I never put anything in, to begin with. Or they’ll last 2 minutes, then POOF it’s a ball of untamed frizz again. Even brushes I have bought in primarily white areas are useless. BTW, that is a thing I found…stores in white areas stock brushes that are too soft to effectively get thru my hair. And stores in black areas stock…
