Thank you! We actually kinda stalled at first. Each of us immersed in our own personal crisis, of which mine I have posted about, my fight to keep my home. But we have slowly been growing. Slowly because of lack of funding. It's just not there for small orgs. The government grants are almost exclusively for schools and medical research, only. We are pushing to pass a law in Florida and Texas (the states our board directors live in), that would get all kids evaluated for autism. Currently waiting till the election to try new politicians (current ones are not interested, and won't assist with introducing the bill in State Congress to vote on). We are in pre-production for a documentary on autism, which is kind of a hit piece on bad therapies that harm us, and an intro to therapies that have been found to be effective. We are raising funds now for this, through small events we are holding locally. We are also in the beginning stages of a couple things, working with Chase Bank and Home Depot, thru our partner, Ken's Krew, to do what our initial mission was, teaching businesses how to recognize basic ND traits so that even undiagnosed people presenting as such have less difficulty in the workplace (better acceptance of differences is just a good thing in general even if the person presenting as ND isn't actually), as well as teaching them how to hire more of us. It took a while because it does take a lot of time to do it well, but we have a lesson plan and enough research and have had the opportunity to put it into practice on a smaller scale, locally, since we started up. We are super excited to take it to a bigger level, though! And we are in the questioning of our ability phase of seeking a grant to conduct a research study on PDA and RSD autism 💛😊
