Unfortunately it is Corporatism we live under, not Capitalism..a society where special interests (mostly wealthy corporations) control politics, and thus, cost of living, and changes to society. That's why it's so hellish and impossible to change anything for the better.

The other problem is we are expected to accommodate neurotypicals needs to a point we burn ourselves out just so they aren't uncomfortable around us (cos we all know what NT's do when someone makes them uncomfortable...ie, strong minded women aka "witches", black people, down syndrome babies they terminate the pregnancies of....etc)....yet if we ask them to accommodate /us/, oh gosh their poor fragile souls can't handle it, it's just soooo much to ask that they, you know, tolerate something different from themselves....*insert eyeroll here* hence why we can't find jobs, get help, and are treated like subhumans unworthy of respect..
